Modelling Days:
Payal began her modeling career with big brands like Amul, Nirma and Nescafe. But she gained maximum popularity after the Cadbury’s Temptation Chocolates advertisement. Payal also had the pleasure of working with Amitabh Bhachchan for Eveready Batteries and Virender Sehwag in Dabur Lal Dantmanjan ad. She also appeared in music videos by Silk Route and Kay Kay.

Bollywood Calling:
Payal made her debut in Bolywood with Harry Baweja’s ‘Yeh Kya Ho Raha Hai’ in 2002. She has shared the screen with Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor in Abbas-Mustan’s suspense thriller ‘36 China Town’ which released in 2006. Later that year she appeared in the critically acclaimed ‘Corporate’ where she played an item girl for a popular number along with Kailash Kher.

In 2007, she starred in her first Priyadarshan film, ‘Dhol’. The film was produced by Percept Pictures Company. In August 2008, she was seen in a cameo opposite Ranvir Shorey in a PNC film, ‘Ugly Aur Pagly’.

Her latest release was TV18’s ‘Dil Kabaddi’ in which the much toned Payal played the role of an aerobics instructor opposite Irfan Khan.
